Material Data Sheet

Material: PC 1000 Polycarbonate

Amorphous Polycarbonate

PC 1000 machine grade polycarbonate is a transparent thermoplastic which has excellent impact resistance and overall stiffness. The material has a high heat deflection temperature, absorbs very little moisture and is able to resist acidic solutions. Combining these qualities with polycarbonates good electrical characteristics, and it is an excellent choice for electronic applications. With polycarbonates ability to resist breaking and its transparency, PC 1000 is a great material for protective face shields, windows and other protective devices.
