Material: Ertalyte® PET-P

Polyethylene terephthalate (PET-P)

Ertalyte® is an unreinforced thermoplastic polyester based on polyethylene terephthalate (PET-P). Ertalyte® is a proprietary material only made and offered by Quadrant. Ertalyte® provides high strength, rigidity and low water absorption makes it a good choice for tight tolerance machining. It also possesses a low coefficient of friction and good wear resistance making it a good material for high load or bearing applications. Ertalyte® is also FDA approved, stain resistant, and moderately resistant to acids making it a good choice for the food processing industry. Ertalyte®'s continuous service temperature is 210°F giving it the ability to outperform acetals and nylons at higher temperatures.
