Material: Delrin Acetal

Polyoxymethlene

Delrin® is a homopolymer acetal and because of its high strength and stiffness it possesses good dimensional stability. Combine those qualities with low moisture absorption, good chemical resistance, low coefficient of friction, good machinability and Delrin® makes for a great choice for structural or bearing and wear applications in most environments. Delrin® does suffer from centerline porosity, so in applications requiring sealing or vacuum different grades of acetals may be required.
